    Skill Changes

List of all our changes we have done towards every class.

    Progression details

In Soluna, progression should be rather quick and you would ideally want to get as much legion characters leveled up as possible to maximize your damage on your main class.

Gears should naturally come from gachapon and drops along the way as you play so there's no need to worry about it until you're ready to grind on your main class.

Note that when leveling any class, always add your stats to your main stats as there are no secondary stats requirements in Soluna.

There are two primary methods of leveling, one being the regular grind and the other being questing.

    Training Spots

    Level Range Training Spot
    10+ Green Mushrooms
    20+ Henesys Golems
    35+ Copper Drakes
    50+ Haunted Mansion Voodoos
    70+ Sahel Desert
    80+ Magatia Roids
    100+ Fantasy Theme Park: Galloperas
    120+ Bossing/Neo City

    Questing

Questing is a decent alternative for solo leveling during your early phases as you receive 3x EXP Multiplier on top of your current EXP Rate.
Recommended questlines: Job Instructor, Demon Hat, Sand Bandits and Red Scorpions, Mushroom Kingdom, Keeny's Research (Strong Machine Gloves).
Any questline around your level should be a viable source of EXP with our boosted multiplier.

    Progressive EXP Curve

Our EXP Table has been modified and is now capable of handling uncapped EXP values. This means that EXP will now exceed 2.1B at certain levels, increasing the difficulty as you progress. To ensure that the maximum level (250) is actually achiveable, we have also implemented progressive EXP where your exp rate will increase along with your level at specific level gaps.

Be sure to utilize all sorts of EXP Boost in-game such as partying, item sets and possible consumables to maximize your gains!

    Level Range Experience Rate
    10 - 29 2x
    30 - 49 3x
    50 - 69 5x
    70 - 89 6x
    90 - 109 7x
    110 - 129 8x
    130 - 149 9x
    150 - 199 10x
    200 - 250 12x

    Leeching / Party Play

Leeching is greatly enhanced in Soluna, rewarding players who team up together. However, there is a AFK penalty in place causing players who are inactive for over 2 minutes to receive 0 EXP and contribute no bonus EXP to the party.

For every party member actively playing grants the party a bonus 20% EXP. As for attackers/mobbers who tends to clear off monsters more often, we have tweaked the EXP ratios to favor such cases as well so to encourage more players to team up.

On top of the 20% per party member active, in certain regions such with naturally tougher mobs such as Lionheart Castle will grant you additional bonus EXP rates.

    Legion

Legions is one of the core system in Soluna, where you gain 1% All Stats for every 10 levels you achieve on a unique class. Unique classes are jobs that branches out starting from second job.

There are the current unique jobs that are available for legions:

    Equipment Progression

Here are some of the core methods to progress with your gears: scrolling, cubing and star forcing

Scrolling: A notable change in Soluna is that there are no 30% Dark Scrolls in the drop table, only regular 10s and 60s can be grinded from specific monsters.

You can only gain 30% Dark Scrolls by Crafting them in Free Market which requires some ETC ores and currencies.

Be sure to work on your Diligence Traits daily to max it out for a bonus 10% extra success rate which we have configured to apply to every scroll including special scrolls like chaos scrolls.

Cubing: Another major change towards cubing is that there is no longer a 'Legendary' tier. All item potentials are capped at Unique. However, commonly known as 'trash lines' are manually filtered out, making cubing more flexible.

In order to balance out all classes, shield slot items including Kataras, Demon Aegis and Magic Arrows are no longer cubable. We have added proper secondary weapons for all classes to enjoy a fair advantage over cubing.

Only one cube exist in the game and can only be obtained through purchasing with NX.

Star Force: We have implemented Star Force scrolls to replace the old Equip Enhancement System. These SF Scrolls can be crafted in Free Market, a single scroll exist for every star range.

Formula for Star Force stats increment:
    (STR/DEX/INT/LUK) = ((ItemBaseStat * 35) * 0.40) * (ItemCurrentStarAmount / 15) + (ItemCurrentStarAmount * ItemLevelRequirement / 60)

    (Weapon/Magic Attack For Weapons) = ((ItemWeapon/MagicAttack * 35) * 0.20)* (ItemCurrentStarAmount / 15) + (ItemCurrentStarAmount * ItemLevelRequirement / 60)

    (Weapon/Magic Attack For Non-Weapons) = (ItemWeapon/MagicAttack + (ItemWeapon/MagicAttack * 0.5))* (ItemCurrentStarAmount / 15) + (ItemCurrentStarAmount * ItemLevelRequirement / 90)

This means that Star Forcing gives a static amount of stats depending on the item's stats making it rewarding to enhance mid-late game gears for the best yields.

    Item Level Max Stars
    0 ~ 99 3
    100 ~ 119 5
    120 ~ 139 10
    140+ 15

Misc: Innocence Scroll: Obtainable through various exchange. Can be used to reset an item's stats to its original average state.

Misc: Chaos Scroll: Obtainable through global drops from all monsters. Stats range are: +5/-5.

Misc: White Scroll: Obtainable through global drops from all monsters. Can be used to preserve a slot when another scroll fails.

Misc: Miraculous Chaos Scroll: Obtainable through exchanging 25 Pieces of Chaos Scroll. Gives +10/-10 stats on success.

Misc: Chaos Scroll of Goodness: Obtainable through various exchange and bosses. Gives +1~5 stats on success.

Misc: Incredible Chaos Scroll of Goodness: Obtainable through exchange and bosses. Gives +1~10 stats on success.

There will be no need for old school HP washing with AP Resets in Soluna. Players will obtain HP Washing Potions from defeating Zakums and Horntails which upon consumption, awards the character with permanent increased Max HP.

With each successful usage, the subsequent chance of success will decrease by 5%, starting from 65%. This can be done for 5 times each potion.

Upon defeating the boss, these potions are automatically credited to your inventory. In the event of insufficient space, you may claim them manually from the NPC Room.

    Star Force Dungeons

Star Force Dungeons are areas that contains enhanced versions of existing monsters in the regular world.

These areas are designed for the ultimate end game party grind which gives way more experience and NX split than the usual high level monsters in normal regions.

Players can access these regions via Jake NPC in Free Market Entrance directly, provided that they meet the given requirements of each region. Lowest being 5 Star Force up to 50 Star Force for the final map.

    Bosses, Expeditions and Timers

Boss prequests are to be done once per character for every boss.

In the event of an unexpected crash, you are able to rejoin an expedition by having existing members use @Invite.

Should all members leave the expedition before the boss is completed, it will be deemed forfeited and all members will go on a 1-Hour/24-Hour (Depending on boss) cooldown before being able to re-attempt.

On cases where the boss is eliminated before a player rejoins, the fight will be deemed cleared even for the member that crashed.
